Every step, from bale to shipment, is run under one roof by the same team.

Fibre opening and feeding
Bales are opened, fibres are blended and fed evenly into the line.

Carding
Fibres are aligned into a thin, even web.

Cross-lapping
The web is laid in layers to reach the required weight and width.

Needling
Thousands of needles interlock the fibres and form the felt.

Calendering and finishing
Heat and pressure smooth the surface; a pattern can be embossed.

Slitting and winding
Edges are trimmed and the felt is wound into rolls of the required width and length.

Quality control
Each roll is checked on a lit inspection table and marked with a barcode label.

Storage and shipping
Rolls are wrapped, stored and dispatched on the planned date.
